Princess Diana colouring books and actvity books were originally published in the UK in the early 1980's by "World International Publishing" and "Cliveden Press"
They were designed as children's activity books but soon started to appeal to people who were Princess Diana collectors.
Today these books are very rare and hard to find, they sometimes appear for sale on eBay where they cause quite alot of interest and often sell for high prices.
We didn't realise that there were so many different ones about Diana published until we started researching the subject and recently we discovered 2 new ones.
They were sold in newsagents and toy shops and some bookshops and were sold in their 10,000's.
Their pages featured colouring pages where you could colour in Diana's dresses, there were also " join the dots" pages and puzzles and word searches.
Some books also featured Princess Diana paper dolls that you could cut out and dress up.
The illustrations for the books were often done by freelance illustrators such as
"Paul Comford" who was exceptionally good at capturing the real likenesses.
He was working at " World International Publishing " during the 1970's and 1980's and so may have worked on illustrating the Princess Diana colouring books.
We hope that you will enjoy seeing all the books and their pages
