This is Chris Anderson he met Princess Diana in 1995 when she came to visit "See - Ability", a residential centre for the blind at Leatherhead in Surrey in the UK.
They had met once before at a reception at Kensington Palace and she recognised Chris instantly.
When Diana entered the restaurant where Chris and the mother of another resident were sitting Diana approached him and began talking to him.
Chris asked Diana "Is it alright if i touch your face so that i know what you look like ?"
Diana replied "Of Course you can" and she kneeled down so that Chris could explore the features of her face with his hands.
