Welcome to our pages all about a girls comic called " Princess "
Issue number 1 of the comic was released on September 24th 1983 in the UK by IPC magazines.
It was designed as a fun comic for young girls and featured stories, puzzles and a letter's page and there was sometimes also a free gift such as a bracelet or a ring.
There was also a very special comic strip called " The Princess Diana Story "
It was all about Diana's life starting right back from when she was born on July 1st 1961.
The comic strip only featured in the first 7 issues of Princess and ended on November 5th 1983.
It was promised that it would return soon but it never did which makes it a very rare and collectable comic strip.
The comic also featured a weekly pin up of Princess Diana and also a letters page where young readers could write in with their poems about Diana and talk about their Diana collections.
The comic sadly ended with Issue 28 on March 31st 1984 when it merged with another UK girls comic called " Tammy " to become " Tammy and Princess " from April 7th 1984.
